Canadiens give ex-UMaine player contract extension
Forward Brian Flynn reached an agreement on a two-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old Flynn, a former University of Maine standout (class of 2012), joined the Canadiens in March from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick. Reports indicated his new deal is worth $950,000 per season.
