BANGOR — Isaac Bushway pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and just one walk as Bangor West remained undefeated in the District 3 Little League 11-12 baseball tournament with an 8-1 win over Brewer-Orrington on Wednesday evening.

Bryce Lausier had a home run and three RBIs for 2-0 Bangor West, while Drew Dorr doubled twice, Bushway singled twice and James Fahey singled with an RBI.

Anthony Chiappone hit a home run for 1-1 Brewer/Orrington while Kaleb Bryant singled twice.

Hermon 7, Bangor East 4

At Taylor Field in Bangor, Ryan Mailloux hit a three-run home run and Wyatt Gogan hit a solo home run to lead Hermon past Bangor East.

Both players added singles and Logan Scripture had two singles for 2-0 Hermon. Mailloux pitched 5⅔ innings to get the win.

For 1-1 Bangor East, Austin Conway had a three-run home run and a double.

Coffee News 9, Midcoast 7

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, the Coffee News Comrades of Bangor scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to pull out a come from behind victory over Midcoast of Rockland.

Trevor Delaite drove in three runs with a double and two singles to lead Coffee News’ 11-hit attack. Andrew Hillier and Peter Kemble pitched in with two singles and an RBI each while Sam Huston and Ryan Brookings added RBI doubles.

Nick Cowperthwaite pitched 7⅔ innings of five-hit, one-run relief with seven strikeouts to earn the victory.

Ollie Brown paced Midcoast with two singles and two RBIs. Joe Chamberlain added a triple while Aubrey Pennington singled, scored two runs and had four stolen bases.

Nick Mazurek pitched five innings of two-run, five-hit baseball for Midcoast.

Coffee News 15, Motor City 3

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor on Tuesday night, James Prescott pitched seven shutout innings and the Coffee News Comrades pounded out 19 hits in the win over Motor City of Bangor.

Prescott allowed only four hits while striking out seven.

Sam Huston hit two home runs and had five RBIs to lead the Coffee News attack. Trevor DeLaite had four hits and two RBIs while Andrew Hillier, Peter Kemble and Jake Ireland all contributed three hits and two RBIs. Ben Crichton pitched in with two hits.

For Motor City, Sam Southwick and Tommy Burns had RBI doubles and Cody Collins recorded two singles.

R.H. Foster’s 3, Penquis 2

At Dover-Foxcroft on Tuesday night, Casey Sudbeck and Connor Farmer teamed up to pitch the R.H. Foster’s-Hampden Riverdogs past Penquis.

Brandon Young was sharp for the Navigators, yielding only one earned run in 6⅔ innings before being replaced on the mound by Matthew Spear and Brooks Law.

Sudbeck also chipped in two singles for Hampden while Tyler Beaton and Jordan Dysart each singled twice. Law and Chandler Rockwell paced the Navigators’ offense with two hits each, including a double by Law. Penquis RBIs came from Young and first baseman Nick Hagan while Beaton and Ben Huston knocked home runs for the Riverdogs.
