DIXFIELD, Maine — Three men have been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries at Franklin County convenience stores, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Einer Bonilla, 21, and Duane Bailey, 27, both of Nebraska and D’Kota Rowe, 20, of East Dixfield have been charged in connection with a burglary at Our Village Market in New Vineyard, and charges are pending for incidents at stores in Jay and Dixfield, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
The trio were arrested Wednesday night at an East Dixfield residence where they were staying, according to McCausland. Bailey and Bonilla had been living with Rowe to work at Rowe’s mother’s concession stand at local fairs.
Alcohol and tobacco products taken from the stores were seized from the residence, McCausland said.
Troopers are working with Franklin County sheriff’s deputies and Jay and Wilton police in the investigation.
All three men were taken to the Franklin County Jail.
