BUCKSPORT, Maine — Bucksport Regional Health Center has been serving the Bucksport community and surrounding area for 41 years. It’s time for a new look and center would like the community it serves to help with the process.
“We have two new logo options,” said Carol Carew, executive director of the center. “We couldn’t
decide between them and really wanted to get the community’s help in choosing one and to be a
part of our growth and new look. We are making a lot of great changes here that we are excited
to share with all of our patients, old and new.”
As a thank you for voting and being a part of the new look, the center will hold drawings for two
$41 gift cards – one dollar for each year the center has been of service in the community. One will be drawn from the A votes and one from the B votes.
Bucksport Regional Health Center is a federally qualified health center that serves the whole community but especially those who are uninsured or underinsured.
“We are a safety net for people who need medical care but may not have access to it,” said Carew. “We offer a full range of services including medical, dental, behavioral health as well as
lab services that are available to both patients and people who are not patients of BRHC. And we
offer a sliding-fee scale to help those that need it.”
Cast votes on bucksportrhc.com, by private message on Facebook or mail one’s choice of A or B, with name and phone number to: BRHC, 110 Broadway, Bucksport ME 04416. Or by call the center at 469-7371. Deadline for voting is Saturday, Aug. 1.
