Golf tournament
BANGOR — The 27th annual Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at Bangor Municipal Golf Course, 278 Webster Ave.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m.; shotgun start at 8 a.m. Registration form is available at bangorregion.com.
Camden National Bank Skills Packs containing a disk, “switch-a-tee” ticket and six-foot string will be available for $25 per player.

Tennis Lessons
BANGOR — The Bangor Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with Armstrong Tennis Center is offering two sessions of tennis lessons this summer. Lessons are for children age 5 to 14 and are offered at varied times by age.
Session I will take place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, through July 24.
Session II will be held also Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays Aug. 3-14.
Lessons will be held at Hayford Park courts on 13th Street. The is cost $35 Bangor residents, $40 others.

Aqua Zumba
BANGOR — The Bangor Parks and Recreation Department will hold Aqua Zumba classes 5-5:50 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays 5-5:50 p.m. through Aug. 12, at the Beth Pancoe Aquatic Center.
Session fee is $45 Bangor residents, $50 others.
There will be a $5 per day drop-in fee if there is room in the pool. If all slots are filled due
to full session registrations, there will be no drop-in time available.

Golfers wanted
ORONO — Dirigo Pines Retirement Community is seeking teams and sponsors for a golf tournament 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Traditions Golf Club in Holden. All golfers will receive gift bags. Summer Tennis Clinic
ORONO — Holly Twining will provide a tennis clinic to children age 8 and up 9:30-11 a.m. Monday and Wednesday, July 20, 22, 27 and 29, at the Orono High School tennis courts, 14 Goodridge Road.
Twining plays on a 3.5 tennis team that will move on to District Championships in August. She has co-taught tennis lessons in the past with tennis pro Kelly Anchors.
