BANGOR, Maine — Nick Guerette pitched seven innings of one-run, seven-hit baseball to lead RH Foster of Hampden to a 14-1 victory over Coffee News of Bangor in American Legion Zone 1 action Sunday.
Guerette stuck out five and walked one while throwing 81 pitches.
Casey Sudbeck led the RH Foster attack with four singles and two RBIs. Zach Nash singled three times while Jackson Gilmore tripled, singled and added four RBIs. Tyler Beaton, Mike Turner, and Conor Farmer all added two hits each.
For Coffee News, Trevor DeLaite singled twice with an RBI and Ryan Brookings added two singles.

David Clark hit a two-run home run to help Steamboat of Waldo County beat Midcoast of Rockland.
Drew Stanley chipped in with two singles and triple for Steamboat while Sam Kulikowski added a double and singled.
Aubrey Pennington had four hits for Midcoast and Sawyer Pinkham added two.

At Heddercig Field in Brewer, Tommy Burns pitched a complete nine-inning game to lead Motor City of Bangor by the Falcons.
Burns scattered six hits and three walks while striking out three. He helped his cause with two singles and three RBIs.
Jackson Coutts also chipped in with three RBIs for Motor City on two singles and a double. Cody Collins added a triple, two doubles, a single and an RBI while Ethan Stoddard had a double, single and an RBI.
Matt Pushard doubled, singled and drove in two runs for Brewer.

At Heddericg Field in Brewer Saturday, Dylan Soper’s two-out double in the eighth scored Alex Maxsimic to give the Falcons the winning edge.
Maxsimic also earned the pitching win with three scoreless innings of relief, allowing one hit while not walking a batter and striking out three.
Carter DeRedin and Matt Pushard each recorded two singles and an RBI to lead the Falcons. Alex Brooks added a single and an RBI and Logan Rogerson doubled. Pushard also earned a save.
Tom Paola and Will Ricker each doubled for the Acadians while Tony Bianco added a single and an RBI.

At Husson University’s Winkin Complex in Bangor on Friday, Seth Young started the game with three no-hit innings on the mound and Gage Feeney came on in relief to shut the door as the Acadians posted the victory.
Jake Keenan provided the game-winning RBI with a pinch hit bases-loaded two-out triple in the fourth inning. Will Ricker provided a two-out, two-run bases-loaded single in the fifth to break the game open.
Conor Maguire led the Acadians with two hits scoring two runs. Feeney also had a two-out RBI single. Hank Vinall added a single.
For Motor City, Cody Collins tripled in the fourth. Jackson Coutts had an opposite field double and Tommy Burns singled.

At Dover-Foxcroft on Friday, Chase Carmichael allowed just one earned run and struck out six in seven innings to lead the Falcons to victory.
Matt Pushard sparked Brewer with a double, single and two RBIs and Dylan Soper added two singles and two RBIs. Carmichael helped his cause with three singles and an RBI.
Chandler Rockwell and Ryan Vienneau each had RBI singles for Penquis.
