PORTLAND, Maine — Police arrested three transients Saturday afternoon after they allegedly robbed a 39-year-old man of cash and cigarettes on Marginal Way near Forest Avenue.

Romarico Gonzalez, 30, Amanda Ansolini, 28, and Mahad Hassan, 27, were charged with robbery, according to Portland police.

Ansolini also was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. She allegedly had a knife that was shaped like a gun.

The victim reported the robbery about 12:39 p.m. Saturday, Lt. Robert Martin said Saturday. The trio charged in incident were found and arrested less than an hour later.

Gonzalez, Ansolini and Hassan are being held at the Cumberland County Jail. They are expected to make their first court appearances Monday at the Cumberland County Courthouse.
