CARTHAGE, Maine — A man and two juveniles are facing multiple charges after allegedly entering a residence and using it as a place to consume alcohol, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols said.
Zachary Demars, 19, and the two juveniles, whose names were not disclosed, are facing burglary, criminal mischief and theft charges, according to Nichols.
On Aug. 9, the suspects apparently entered a West Side Road residence with the intent of partying there, according to Nichols, and stole bottles of alcohol upon leaving, the sheriff said.
After conducting interviews of neighbors, evidence led police to another West Side Road residence, where Demars and the other suspects confessed to the crimes, Nichols said.
