BANGOR — The first practice for Bangor High School boys and girls cross country will be held on Monday, Aug. 17, at the Bangor High tennis courts from 3-4:45 p.m. Contact coach Adam Goode at 991-7000 or Bangor High School for more information.

BELFAST — Preseason practices at Belfast High School begin on Aug. 17. Athletes will need permission and proof of insurance forms before they can begin practicing. The following are the first practices: cross country 9 a.m., Belfast HS; boys soccer 7-8:30 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. at Captain Albert Stevens School; girls soccer 8-9:30 a.m. and 5:30-7 p.m. at Captain Albert Stevens School; field hockey 9 a.m. on the track at Belfast HS and 5-7 p.m. on the field; golf 3 p.m on Aug. 19, 20, 21 at Northport Golf Course; football 8-10 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. at Belfast HS.
