BANGOR, Maine — Police are seeking a man who allegedly stole a child’s scooter recently, Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton wrote in a posting on the department’s Facebook page.

The man allegedly stole the scooter from a city convenience store, according to Cotton’s post. It’s also possible the man is driving a dark-colored Lexus.

“Help us find this man and vehicle. Help us get the child’s scooter back,” Cotton wrote.

Anybody with information on the case should call Bangor police at 947-7384 and use option 6 to access the department’s tip line. Private messages can also be sent via the department’s Facebook page.
