SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Hannaford is helping children from low-income families attend local summer camps.
A new $400,000 “Hannaford Helps” donation will help hundreds of low-income children attend youth development programs.
It also will help buy food for area schools.
“We are proud of what we do,” Hannaford President Mike Vail said. “We’re passionate about what we do, we care about what we do and it’s about who we are and it’s a real key part about our Hannaford values.”
The donations will go to several development programs all around the state.
