FARMINGTON, Maine — A man from Strong is facing a gross sexual assault charge after an investigation that lasted a month, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Robert Chabot, 47, was arrested Thursday, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Chabot’s arrest came at the conclusion of an investigation launched in August of an alleged sexual assault on a juvenile, according to Nichols.
Chabot is accused of gross sexual assault of a juvenile, a Class A felony. He is being held on $20,000 cash bail at the Franklin County Jail.
