PORTLAND, Maine — The Walk to End Alzheimer’s was held in Portland’s Payson Park on Saturday.

More than 1,000 people participated in the walk, and more than $190,000 was raised to fight Alzheimer’s in Maine.

There are 26,000 people in Maine with Alzheimer’s and more than 100,000 caregivers.

Fundraising for the walk stays open until Dec. 31. For more information, visit act.alz.org.
