AUBURN, Maine — A jewelry store in Auburn was heavily damaged after a car slammed into it Saturday night.
After the blue Chevrolet crashed into Goldworks at 33 Center St., a witness said the driver fled the scene. Police did not immediately return calls Saturday for more information about the crash.
The owner of Goldworks estimated the damage to be about $10,000.
