BETHEL, Maine — A driver involved in a head-on crash that killed a woman Friday was held without bail Saturday on charges not related to the crash.

According to the Oxford County Jail, Jason Heath, 29, was being held without bail on heroin-related charges, as well as violating conditions of release. He has not been charged in connection with the crash.

Heath’s vehicle and another vehicle, driven by Susan Isham, 47, collided head-on on Intervale Road around 3 p.m. Friday, killing Isham, police said.

Police worked to clear the scene of the crash until around 10 p.m., according to dispatchers.
