ORONO – Denise C. Shain, wife of the late George Shain, died October 22, 2015 at a Bangor health care facility. She was born January 11, 1952 in Portland a daughter of Olen and Delores (Corey) Broad.
She is survived by two daughters Deborah Smith and her companion Troy Reed of Ellsworth and Yvonne Smith of Bangor; grandchildren Angel Robertson, Kendra Bryant, Jasmine Smith, and Rochelle Smith; great grandchildren William Robertson, Athena Robertson, Destiny Smith, and Kaylee Slaughter; 11 brothers and 4 sisters; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by George in 2010 and by four brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be conducted 1PM Thursday October 29, 2015 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Orono
