BUXTON, Maine — Maine State Police arrested a suspect in the June home burglary on Haley Road in Hollis.

State police say the homeowner returned to find that his residence had been broken into and multiple firearms had been taken. The majority of the firearms were later located at pawn shops and private sales.

Police suspected Philip Harris, 31, because he was once a tenant at the Haley Road address. Officials were able to gather enough information to obtain an arrest warrant for Harris for receiving stolen property.

Maine State Police and the Buxton Police Department found Harris Friday night hiding inside a mobile home at 650 Parker Farm Road in Buxton.

Harris was taken into custody without incident and was brought to the York County Jail, where he is being held on $500 bail.
