MILLINOCKET, Maine — More than 2,400 Emera Maine customers in northern Penobscot County were without power Friday morning, according to a company statement.
The 2,460 outages are affecting Millinocket, Cedar Lake, Indian Purchase Township, Seboeis Plantation and several unorganized territories.
Crews hope to have the affected customers back online as soon as possible.
Schools in Millinocket were closed for the day. Students are attending classes in Lincoln.
