MIAMI, Florida — Matt Crafton finished first in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series finale while Erik Jones captured the points title Friday night at Homestead Miami Speedway.
Fort Kent native Austin Theriault, returning to his first truck series race since a crash in an Oct. 3 race in Las Vegas, finished 12th in the Ford EcoBoost 200. He started in the 18th position.
John Hunter Nemechek finished second in the race, Tyler Reddick was third, Ben Kennedy was fourth and Timothy Peters rounded out the top five.
The 19-year-old Jones, who drives for Kyle Busch Motorsports, finished sixth in the race to clinch the points title and become the youngest champion in the series history.
