SANFORD, Maine — Police are searching for a man who allegedly fled the Biddeford probation office on Nov. 4.
Christopher Gonyer, 40, of Sanford is on probation for three counts of aggravated assault and assault on a police officer, according to a statement from Sanford police.
Gonyer’s probation stems from an incident in 2006 in which he stabbed the mother of his children and a Sanford police officer.
His probation has been revoked and an arrest warrant has been issued for him. Gonyer is considered dangerous and has ties to Sanford, Old Orchard Beach, Haverhill, Massachusetts, and Sandwich, New Hampshire.
Anybody with knowledge of Gonyer’s whereabouts should call Sanford police Detective Eric Small at 324-9170 ext. 227.
