WATERVILLE, Maine — Waterville police and personnel from the Maine State Police and several other law enforcement agencies are at the scene of what Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland described as a “critical incident.”
McCausland said Monday night that few details about Monday’s incident would be disclosed until it was resolved. He did say, however, that the general public is not in danger and the affected area has been cordoned off.
WABI TV5 reported that the incident began near Colby Circle.
McCausland said that police were still at the scene at 9 p.m.
