AUGUSTA, Maine — State police this week are displaying special license plates on their cruisers commemorating the Wreaths Across America convoy to Arlington National Cemetery, according to spokesman Stephen McCausland.

Troopers are a part of the convoy which started in Columbia Falls over the weekend, and state first lady Ann LePage was presented with her own license plate.

All cruisers will display the plates through Dec. 13.

The plates were funded by the Maine State Trooper’s Association and Maine Trooper’s Foundation, and no public money was involved. The plates will be signed by the trooper who displayed the plate and given to families who have lost a service member in combat or auctioned off with proceeds going to Wreaths Across America.
