PORTLAND, Maine — A local man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a suspicious package at a Portland office building.
George Dimauro, 64, was arrested Tuesday and charged with terrorizing, according to Portland police Lt. James Sweatt.
Dimauro’s arrest is in connection with a suspicious package found at a 100 Middle St. office Monday morning.
The building was evacuated and the street closed as police investigated.
Dimauro is being held at the Cumberland County Jail and the investigation is ongoing.
