SKOWHEGAN, Maine — A Somerset County jury deliberated Thursday for about 2½ hours before announcing Jason Cote guilty of murder in the death of Ricky Cole in July 2013, according to media reports.
Cote, 25, was found guilty by a 12-member jury, according to a Morning Sentinel report.
Cote faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Cole, 47, was found dead in his Main Street home in Detroit on July 18, 2013, according to Bangor Daily News archives.
According to an autopsy, Cole suffered multiple blunt-force impact traumas and extensive blood loss.
