BANGOR — The Bangor Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its 2015-2016 Youth Basketball Program. This eight-week program is open to all children in grades two-three and four-six, with separate boys and girls leagues. ROCKLAND — The Rockland Elks Club will host its annual local Hoop Shoot Contest at 3:30 p.m. Saturday Dec. 19, at the Rockland Recreation Center. Boys and Girls ages 8-13 are invited to participate. The Maine Pond Hockey Classic is an annual fundraising tournament supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA of Greater Waterville. Registration is underway.
