AUBURN, Maine — A Big Apple convenience store in Auburn was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night.
Around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, a man entered the Big Apple on Minot Avenue, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, according to Auburn police. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
Police described the suspect as a white man, who is about six-foot-one, weighs 210 pounds and around 40 years old. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a green fatigue Army jacket.
