LEBANON, Maine — Investigators believe they have identified a local man killed in a fire at his Bakers Grant Road home Wednesday.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said the man is believed to be Kevin Struble, 57.
Positive identification will need to be completed by the State Medical Examiner’s Office, McCausland said.
Struble, who is disabled, was found in the living room near his wheelchair, McCausland said.
According to fire investigators, the blaze started in the basement, but a cause will likely not be determined because of the extent of the damage, McCausland said.
The death marks the 19th caused by fire in Maine in 2015.
