GARDINER, Maine — A man was found dead in his car on the I-295 median.
Ian Carter, 27, was found by a driver who called police, according to Maine State Police troopers.
Police said it appears Carter went airborne and hit the trees about 25 feet in the air before spinning around and landing on the ground.
Carter was last seen Monday morning before he left for work in Westbrook.
It’s unclear when the crash happened.
