PORTLAND, Maine — Hall Elementary School in Portland is closed today because the school has no heat.
The rest of the Portland school district is open and running as normal.
Medomak Valley High School in Regional School Unit 40 also is closed today. The rest of RSU 40 is open.
Wind chills are below zero throughout much of the state. It’s the first sub-zero temperatures this year.
