BANGOR, Maine — City police are investigating a robbery at WeeBeez Market on Court Street, according to Sgt. Tim Cotton.

A lone suspect entered the store around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, indicated he was armed and demanded cash, Cotton said.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in the direction of Charles Street. A police dog tracking was performed, but the robber was not located.

The robber stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 240 pounds and was wearing dark blue jeans and dark sneakers. He also was wearing a dark hooded windbreaker at the time of the incident and may have a tear shaped tattoo near one of his eyes.
