TURNER, Maine — A Turner man died in a late Friday night crash after his vehicle went off Route 117, rolled over and landed on its roof.

Jeromy Tanguay was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department, which received the call from a motorist just before 11:30 p.m. Friday. Police said a motorist found Tanguay’s car on its roof on Turner Center Road, which is Route 117, near Long Meadow Estates in Turner.

Police said the Jeep Liberty Tanguay was driving went off the road, down an embankment, rolled over and landed on its roof back on Turner Center Road. The road was closed for about three hours while crews cleared the scene.

No cause has been determined for the crash, which remains under investigation.
