LEWISTON, Maine — A Bates College student was found unresponsive in his dorm room Sunday and was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
James Jhun, a senior at the school, was pronounced dead at St. Mary’s Medical Center soon after being transported by EMS, school spokesman Kent Fischer said.
“This is a terrible loss for his family and the entire Bates community and we are working hard to provide support to his family and friends at this difficult time,” Fischer said in a statement.
The school did not release any more information Monday.
