GRAY, Maine — Weather forecasters are keeping an eye on a storm that could bring a significant amount of snowfall over the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, the best chance of accumulating snow appears to be in coastal and southern interior parts of the state, but uncertainty in the storm’s track remains.

The western mountains also have potential to see significant snowfall.

The storm is expected to truck up the eastern seaboard later in the week and Maine could see precipitation Saturday and into Sunday.
