WATERVILLE, Maine — Officials are investigating a fire that ripped through two trailers at Poolers Parkway Monday morning.

Waterville fire Capt. Shawn Ester said crews were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. Monday for a fully-involved trailer fire, and crews discovered a second trailer had caught ablaze upon arrival.

A defensive attack was initiated and firefighters were able to knock the blaze down quickly, Ester said.

The captain said it was unclear if anybody was inside either building, and the state fire marshal’s office and Waterville police are assisting with the investigation.

No firefighters were injured.
