PARSONSFIELD, Maine — A home has been destroyed by fire, and the homeowner was rushed to the hospital Monday night.
The fire happened in Parsonsfield, which is near the New Hampshire border. Firefighters said when they arrived to the scene at 38 South Road, the small house already had collapsed into the basement.
The chief said the homeowner was hospitalized, but there were no details on the victim’s condition.
