BELFAST, Maine — Police are seeking a suspect who allegedly stole a station wagon from the Cross Street parking lot Tuesday night.
The vehicle was later recovered in a ditch, Sgt. John Gibb wrote on the department’s Facebook page.
“You decided it would be prudent to do some donuts and beat on something you did not have a nickel invested in,” Gibb wrote.
A suspect has not been identified, but police are advising the perpetrator to turn themselves in.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Belfast police at 338-2420.
