CAMDEN, Maine — A Camden man was arrested early Monday morning, accused of choking a boy and assaulting a woman.
Gregory A. Rogerson Jr., 35, was charged with two counts of domestic violence assault and was taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland.
Rogerson had gotten up during the night after drinking and watching the Super Bowl and got into an argument with a 12-year-old boy, according to an affidavit filed by Camden police with Knox County Unified Court.
Rogerson jumped on top of the boy and held him down as the boy struggled to get away, according to the affidavit. The boy ended up with red marks on his neck, shoulder and chest, police reported.
The boy’s mother intervened and Rogerson pushed her before leaving the room, according to the affidavit.
Bail was initially set at $2,500 cash.
