MARS HILL, Maine — Temperatures are expected to sink to a point where an Aroostook County ski area will close on Sunday.
According to a post on its Facebook page, the Big Rock Ski Area in Mars Hill will be closed on Sunday.
The wind chill is expected to dip as low as 35 below zero in the area on Sunday, according to the post.
Sugarloaf and Sunday River ski resorts were expected to be open throughout the weekend. Big Rock was open Friday and will be open Saturday as well.
