CORINNA AND GARLAND – Leo T. Michaud, 88, went to be with the Lord February 13, 2016 at his home. He was born June 7, 1927 in Kingfield, the son of Joseph and Aurora (Corey) Michaud. Leo served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, the Korean conflict, and was a life member of the V. F. W. Post 1603 Lewiston-Auburn.
Leo was a former mill worker and school bus driver. He enjoyed woodworking and volunteered on numerous building and repair projects at his church as well as for friends and relatives. He loved to play cribbage and would play for hours if anyone had the time.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; 2 sons, Leo P. Michaud, Tony and wife Alice Michaud; 4 daughters, April and husband Keith Palmer, Patty Sue and husband Ray Huston, June and husband Al White, and Penny Michaud; a stepdaughter, Brandi; 2 stepsons, Mike and Mark Prescott; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Reggie and wife Lula; 5 sisters, Irene Doliber, Claudia Wallace, Lornia and husband Norman Wood, Rita and husband Bob Hanning, and Mary St. Clair. He was predeceased by a sister, Rose Marie.
