NEWPORT – Larry Lee, 51, passed away unexpectedly February 15, 2016. He was born in Waterville, June 19, 1964, a son of Cecil and Mayvilla (Cox) Lee.
He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1983.
Larry loved hunting, music and watching football and basketball. He was a very loving man devoted to his friends and especially family. He lived life to the fullest and would always help those in need. Those who knew him well loved him for his humor and honesty. He worked with his brother-in-law, LeRoy Hall, in carpentry for 7 years.
He is survived by his mother, Mayvilla “Maude” Lee of Fairfield; his loving wife, Geneva of Newport; 3 children, Matthew and wife, Meagan Konrad of Jacksonville, NC, and Maya and Anthony Sabina of Newport; sisters and their spouses, Sheila and Oscar Gerry, Linda and Dana Chesley, Darlene and Dana Peavey, Debbie and Rodney Bailey, all of Clinton, Sherry and Bill Tanner of Fairfield Center, and Molly Orff and Mike James of Vassalboro; many nieces, nephews and several greatnieces and nephews. Larry is also survived by his second family, Ralph and Emma Hall of Newport, LeRoy and Nancy Hall of Etna, John and Jan Hall of Pittsfield, Scott and Nina Boyington of Newport, as well as Millard and Jane Hall of Dexter. Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Larry was predeceased by his father.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, February 27th at the Calvary Baptist Church, 573 Main Road, Pittsfield. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
