BANGOR – BANGOR – Everett H. (Sonny) Jenkins, Jr. died unexpectedly Feb. 21, 2016. He was born in Bangor on Feb. 7, 1963, the loving son of the late Everett H. (Lucky) Jenkins, Sr. and Shirley A. (Bridges) Lydick.
He attended Bangor schools. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and really enjoyed what Maine had to offer.
He is survived by two sons and their wives, Spc. Benjamin and Taylor Jenkins and their two daughters, Aurora and Cally and Sgt. Erik and Gertrude Jenkins and one baby boy of the way. Both sons are currently enlisted in the U.S. Army. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley of East Millinocket; two sisters, Penny Plummer and her companion Richard Crosby of Medway and Robin Kennett and her companion, John Vaughn of Milo; one special aunt, Irene; cousin, Kent of Bucksport; many friends and a very special and loyal friend Bill McKee of Bangor; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Lucky; sister, Donna; and special uncle, Herbert.
He will always be felt in the wind that blows across the pond and the mud that flies in the air. He will always be loved and missed throughout the many years to come.
There will be a private graveside service in the spring.
