HOWLAND, Maine — The annual Penobscot Valley Conference Classes C-D boys and girls senior basketball all-star games will be held Thursday in Sereyko Gymnasium at Penobscot Valley High School.
The girls game will kick off the doubleheader at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students at the door.
One girls squad includes Samantha Ireland and Ariana McKinnon of Penobscot Valley, Kaycee Cintron and Courtney Stevens of Katahdin in Stacyville, Hanna Gutow and Margaret Brooks of George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, Chantel Lane and Taylor McLaughlin of Schenck in East Millinocket, Jordynne Littlefield of Piscataquis in Guilford, Ally Eaton of Deer Isle-Stonington, Katie Batron of Dexter and Anna Bucklin of Searsport.
They will face a team made up of Amy Hallett and Mikayla Roy of Penobscot Valley, Kayla Falone and Nicole Chasse of Schenck, Melinda Ogden and Kaitlyn Shute of Searsport, Delani Bennett of Piscataquis, Logan Huckins of Calais, Molly Cunningham of Katahdin, Skyler Theodore of Dexter, Abby Cross of Bangor Christian and Cora Gray of George Stevens.
Coaches for the girls game are Dawn McLaughlin of Penquis Valley and Joe Cyr of Penobscot Valley.
Coaches for the boys game are Chris Woodside of Calais and Zak Mills of LaGrange, the seventh-grade son of Penquis Valley of Milo head coach Jason Mills.
One boys squad features Grant Doane of Penobscot Valley, Earon Grinage of Calais, Troy Reynolds and Bryce Shorey of Searsport, Tyler Pye and Hayden Craig of Bucksport, Alex O’Hara and Pat Pinkham of Sumner of East Sullivan, Tyson Porter of Katahdin, Nick Szwez of George Stevens Academy, Noah Davis of Deer Isle-Stonington, Devon Whitney of Stearns of Millinocket and Ryan Chasse of Fort Kent.
The rival boys roster consists of Thomas Spencer of Penobscot Valley, Ben Morrill of Piscataquis, Will Entwistle of George Stevens, Eric Phillips of Searsport, Riley Macleod, Kyle Jackson and Austin Mason of Bucksport, Max Eklund of Sumner, Dakota Reinhardt of Katahdin, Tim White of Greenville, Kris Melanio of Deer Isle-Stonington, Brandon Theriault of Fort Kent and Devon Smith of Schenck.
