Savage, Levesque, lead Aroostook All-Stars
CARIBOU — Caribou’s Donovan Savage closed out the 26th annual Aroostook County Senior All-Star Game by hitting five consecutive 3-point shots to finish with a game-high 28 points for Team Red in a 122-98 victory over Team Black.
Jimmy Buzzell of Hodgdon and Logan Halvorson of Easton finished with 21 and 19 for the Red Team.
For Team Black, Tyson Porter of Katahdin High in Stacyville finished with 18 points, Garrett Ring of Houlton tallied 15 and Jarrett Olson of Washburn added 14.
Proceeds from the games benefit the Aroostook League Scholarship Fund. Last year, the league presented $4,000 in scholarships to graduating student-athletes.

In the girls game, Alexis Levesque of Madawaska tossed in 15 points to lead a balanced Team Blue attack in a victory over Team Pink.
Emmy Churchill of Washburn and Rhylee Wright of Wisdom each scored 14 points while Presque Isle teammates Taylor Williams and Olivia Hudson had 10 and nine, respectively for Team Blue.
For Team Pink, Molly Cunningham of Katahdin and Chelsea Pelkey of Fort Fairfield each connected for 14 points, and Jenna Boucher of Caribou added 12.
