LISBON, Maine — Two people suffered serious injuries after their motorcycle went off the road and struck a tree in Lisbon Saturday night.
Linden Houle, 43, was driving a motorcycle on School Street toward Route 196 just after 8 p.m. Saturday night when he lost control near the intersection and struck a tree, according to police.
Houle and his passenger, Michelle Pinette, 39, were seriously injured in the crash and taken by LifeFlight to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston for treatment, police said.
Police said speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
