CARIBOU, Maine — A low-pressure system working its way through the state Monday was expected to bring rain and snow throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
While accumulating snow was not expected, portions of far northern Maine have the potential to see up to a few inches of fresh powder, according to the weather service.
Any precipitation was expected to taper off by the end of the day, and temperatures are expected to warm rapidly by the middle of the week.
