WESTBROOK, Maine — Westbrook police are investigating the death of a 36-year-old man who was found unresponsive Sunday evening at a Central Street address.

The man’s name was not immediately released pending notification of next of kin, according to a news release from Westbrook police Chief Janine L. Roberts.

Public safety personnel went to 183 Central St. at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sunday and attempted unsuccessfully to revive the man.

Roberts said investigators do not yet know the cause of death, but have notified the state medical examiner’s office.
