CARIBOU, Maine — Commuters heading south on Interstate 95 were being advised Thursday to use caution because of heavy thunderstorms and hail.
According to the National Weather Service, large hail and heavy downpours were moving through the Pittsfield area early Thursday afternoon.
Severe thunderstorms were rumbling through southern parts of the state during the mid-afternoon hours Thursday.
