ROCKLAND, Maine — A Knox County grand jury indicted a dozen people this week on a variety of charges ranging from sex assault to tax evasion.
Jessie L. Gehrmann, 29, of Waldoboro, was indicted on three counts each of gross sexual assault and three counts of unlawful sexual contact that are alleged to have occurred from June through August 2006 in Union. Gehrmann was arrested last month on the charges.
Bronson Robert Simmons, 28, Camden, aggravated assault, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence reckless conduct, obstructing report of a crime. The offenses occurred March 2 in Camden. He also was arrested last month on the charges.
Tyrone Trask, 55, Rockport, felony terrorizing, for allegedly threatening to kill Assistant District Attorney Chris Fernald during a court hearing in October 2015 in Knox County Unified Court.
Kelly Mann, 42, Jefferson, theft by deception and two counts of unsworn falsification. The indictment alleges that from Aug. 1, 2007, through July 31, 2015, Mann received food stamps and MaineCare from the state when she was not entitled. The state says she lied on applications, including by stating that her husband did not live at home with her. The amount of aid stolen totaled more than $10,000, according to the indictment.
Anthony J. Boudreau, 20, Warren, burglary, stealing drugs, and criminal mischief on Dec. 8 in Union.
Duane Natale, 37, South Thomaston, trafficking in oxycodone and conspiracy to traffick on Oct. 19 in South Thomaston.
Jessica L.M. Hooper, 29, Camden, theft on Sept. 21 in Camden.
Brandon A. Demmons, 22, Rockland, eluding an officer, criminal mischief, driving to endanger, failure to stop for an officer on Oct. 27 in South Thomaston.
Traci L. Cultrera, 50, Hope, theft by deception and violating condition of release on Dec. 18 in Rockland.
Charlotte E. Shellman, 41, Searsport, aggravated forgery, possession of suboxone on March 15 in Rockland.
Charles H. Dodge, 33, Rockland, aggravated forgery on March 15 in Rockland.
Christopher Widdecombe, 43, Thomaston, failure to pay state income tax and failure to file state income tax returns in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Widdecombe had been convicted in September 2011 for failure to pay his state income taxes, according to the indictment.
