OWLS HEAD, Maine — A fire destroyed a shed and damaged a house here Sunday night.
An investigator from the Maine fire marshal’s office is working to determine the cause of the fire, Owls Head fire Chief Frank Ross said Monday morning.
The fire was reported at 10:17 p.m. at the residence of Donald Williams III at 14 Granite Point Road, located off Ash Point Drive, Ross said.
A shed about 10-feet-by-14-feet was destroyed. The fire also melted the vinyl siding and trim on the side of the house nearest the shed, he said.
There was no interior damage to the home and there were no injuries, the chief said.
Crews from Rockland and South Thomaston also responded to the fire. Firefighters cleared the scene shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday.
