PORTLAND, Maine — The high school singles state tennis tourney set for Friday has been moved to the indoor courts at the Portland Racket and Fitness center because of the uncertainty of the weather, the Maine Principals’ Association announced Thursday night.
The scheduled start times for the matches will remain the same with the Round of 48 for both boys and girls divisions beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The matches had been scheduled at the Lewiston High School courts.
The Round of 16 and quarterfinals are still set for Saturday at Lewiston High School, followed by the semifinals and championships on Monday at Bates College in Lewiston.
